Szklarka Waterfall

According to legend, the waterfall is home to the spirit of Szklarka – a forest nymph who was said to protect the forests and waters of this region. This story will surely interest children and stimulate their imagination during the visit.

This impressive waterfall is located at an altitude of 846 meters above sea level and lies on the red trail leading to Szrenica (58-580 Szklarska Poręba). It is one of the most important attractions in Szklarska Poręba, where after sightseeing you can rest at the nearby shelter.
The route is well secured, but due to steep descents and a narrow gorge, parents with small children may want to use easier trails and return to the viewing terrace above.

- Height: The water falls in three cascades from an impressive height of 27 meters into the Kamieńczyk gorge, which is over 100 meters long.

Podgórna Waterfall
Podgórna Waterfall (58-563 Przesieka), located in Przesieka, is the third-highest waterfall in the Polish Karkonosze. Situated in the forest, a little away from the main tourist trails, it is an excellent choice for a peaceful trip.

- Height: The water falls from a height of 10 meters, creating a picturesque cascade that looks particularly beautiful during winter frosts when the waterfall partially freezes.
- Natural pool: In summer, Podgórna Waterfall is popular due to a small pool at the foot of the waterfall where you can dip your feet. Children love this place, and parents can rest on the stones while admiring nature.
