On our blog, we have already visited the seaside corners of Gdańsk and the peaceful Sobieszewo Island, so today I invite you to Ustronie Morskie – a place that may not appear on the first pages of guidebooks but certainly deserves attention. This is the debut of this location in our series, but everything suggests that it will appear more often from now on, as Ustronie Morskie has something that makes you want to come back – whether with children, as a couple, or solo.
In summer, Ustronie shines on the central coast like Baltic amber. Wide, well-kept beaches, clean water, and a distinctive calm that is hard to find in larger, noisier resorts. Located between Kołobrzeg and Mielno, Ustronie hits the mark – it is close enough to attractions to enjoy them but far enough to truly relax. The first steps on soft sand, sea breeze, the sound of waves, warmth of the sun on the skin create an atmosphere of blissful relaxation. But this is just the beginning. In Ustronie Morskie, nature meets comfort. In the town, you can both lie on a deck chair and jump on a bike, take a walk on a forest trail, or relax in a jacuzzi. Children have their world of water attractions, and adults have space for true rest. And today's article is about holidays that do not require compromises :)
Grano Aparthotel Proper rest starts with... a good sleep. Grano apartments offer spacious, brightly decorated rooms in Scandinavian style: whites, pastels, natural wood. Some apartments have balconies – an ideal choice for morning coffee with the sound of waves in the background. The interiors encourage calm but are also functional: well-equipped kitchenettes, fast Wi-Fi, spacious bathrooms. After all – isn't it a pleasure to return after a whole day on the beach to an apartment that combines coziness with aesthetics? And what should you do if you want a change from sea and sunbathing? Today, I will present two proposals for spending time in Ustronie Morskie.
Children have their own holiday rhythm. They don't look for a moment of respite – they look for adventures. And in Grano Aparthotel Ustronie Morskie, they will find plenty of them.
Thanks to cooperation with Aquapark Helios and tickets for every day as part of the stay, the youngest will discover a true family haven where they can splash freely in warm water, try out twisty slides, and discover how much fun a spinning whirlpool can bring. This is not just a few indoor pools; it is a holiday paradise for little ones. And parents? They don’t have to just watch from the shore – although they can. The deck chairs around the pool are comfortable enough to follow the children's play with a cup of coffee in hand. And if they want, they can dive with them into the water world: hydro massages in the jacuzzi are a great way to relax even when little feet are splashing nearby.
Water is just the beginning. When children get their fill of aquapark joy, the next steps seem clear. In the large play area, no one needs convincing to goof around. Soft carpet, colorful bean bags, games that provoke bursts of laughter, and attractions that engage the youngest for long stretches. Monkey bars, interactive games, a mini soccer field, climbing wall – sounds like a dream come true. In this cozy space, children learn independence – and parents can catch their breath. Children get space to be themselves – joy, creativity, spontaneity. And parents? They have a priceless moment – for a book, for coffee, for conversation, or simply to sit and smile. And when the sun breaks through the branches and the Baltic is roaring somewhere on the left – you just know that you are exactly where you should be. These are the moments that make family holidays a real memory to which you return.
And when children have had enough fun at the beach, aquapark, and playroom, it's about time to explore the surroundings of Ustronie from the saddle. It's a fantastic activity for the whole family. Ustronie Morskie, although famous for beautiful beaches and an intimate atmosphere, hides one more treasure: cycling trails – from calm, asphalt paths perfect for family outings to more challenging forest tracks for those who ride to really feel the tiredness in their legs and the wind under their helmet. Here you will find numerous trail markings, places for short stops, service points, and rentals. If you don't bring your own equipment – no problem. You can rent a bike suitable for your needs on-site. And most importantly – cycling connects generations. You can share the passion with children, partners, or friends, and the joint discovery, time spent in motion, and landscape changing with every kilometer make a cycling trip one of the most valuable forms of rest.
Most routes around Ustronie Morskie are paved bike roads, often asphalt or gravel. They are great for trekking bikes, and if you plan longer forest rides – consider gravel or MTB. You can set off right from the hotel. Just a few pedal turns to find yourself on the international Velo Baltica trail (R10) – running along the entire Polish coast. It is precisely in central Pomerania that this trail crosses seaside forests and fragrant resin trails, creating perfect conditions for active rest. For families with children, a great proposal will be to ride around Ustronie and the town, along flat paths, with beautiful views and the option to stop for ice cream or a moment of beach time. Perfect for a family rhythm: ride – rest – taste – move on :) For more advanced cyclists, a good alternative is a longer loop on R10, e.g., through Kołobrzeg forests, where trails lead through varied terrain – asphalt parts alternate with hardened forest trails and fine sand that can surprise many. But that is the charm – the route forces focus, allows you to feel contact with nature, and gives that special kind of satisfaction that appears when you turn off the main road...
In Ustronie Morskie, you can really catch your breath. Without haste, without a plan to check off attractions. Simply: sea, beach, bike path, evening on a deck chair, sliding down a slide. Grano Aparthotel is a calm base for this time – comfortable rooms, attractions for children and adults. Maybe a dip in warm water, maybe a walk, maybe dinner with a view of the sky. I encourage you to visit Ustronie. Just a few days are enough to feel that you are really resting.
